The public version of a LinkedIn profile
Every LinkedIn member has a public profile that anyone can see without an account, and members decide how much of it is visible. When you open a profile while logged out, LinkedIn usually shows a short version and asks you to sign in for the rest. This viewer shows that public version in one place: useful for checking who someone is before a call, confirming a job title, or looking up a contact when you don't have a LinkedIn account.
Public data, honest limits
The tool follows the same rule as our API: it reads only what a logged-out visitor sees and never signs in. Experience history, education, skills, posts, contact info and recommendations are not shown. For programmatic access, the LinkedIn Profile API returns these public fields as JSON, and the LinkedIn Company API does the same for company pages.

How do I view a LinkedIn profile without logging in?+
Paste the profile's URL (linkedin.com/in/…) into the box above and click View profile. The tool shows the public version of the profile: name, headline, current company, location, About text, follower count and connections. You never sign in to LinkedIn.
What does this LinkedIn viewer show?+
Exactly what LinkedIn shows a logged-out visitor: name, profile photo, headline, current company, location, the About section when the member made it public, followers, and connections (shown as 500+ above that number).
What doesn't it show?+
It does not show experience history, education, skills, posts and activity, contact info, recommendations. LinkedIn keeps those behind its sign-in, and this tool only reads what a logged-out visitor can see. It never signs in to fetch more.
Will the member know I viewed their profile?+
No LinkedIn account is used for the lookup, so the view isn't tied to you or to any account.
Why does a profile come back empty or not found?+
Members choose how much of their profile is public, and some hide it from logged-out visitors entirely. A changed profile URL also returns not found. If LinkedIn doesn't answer at all, the tool asks you to try again later.
How fresh is the data?+
Each profile is fetched from LinkedIn when someone first looks it up, then kept for up to 24 hours, so follower counts can be up to a day old.
