Amazon Seller Storefront API

What is the Amazon Seller Storefront API?

Pass an Amazon seller storefront URL (/sp?seller=… or /s?me=…) or raw seller ID (e.g. A294P4X9EWVXLJ) and get that merchant's product listings as clean JSON. Each product includes an extracted ASIN and a canonical https://www.amazon.com/dp/{ASIN} URL (joinable to Amazon's catalog — not shop/{handle}/getProductDetails/… affiliate paths), plus title, image, price/currency/priceFormatted, rating/reviews, and isPrime/isBestSeller/isSponsored. Also seller{id,name,url}, scrapedAt, and cursor pagination (nextCursor/hasMore). Billing is 1 credit per ~16-product storefront page. This is not the influencer Amazon Shop surface (amazon.com/shop/{handle}) that returns avatar/socials/lists/curations — those creator vitrines are a different product and return HTTP 400 here.

Platform limits

Honest ceilings from the upstream platform surface — not Captapi bugs. Unexpected truncation here is usually the platform, not us.

• Influencer Amazon Shops (amazon.com/shop/{handle}) are out of scope — HTTP 400. That surface has socials[], lists[], curations[], trendingPicks[] and is not a seller storefront.
• Not an SC amazon/shop equivalent: SC targets creator affiliate vitrines; this endpoint targets third-party seller storefronts with ASIN-first product identity.

Billing metadata is returned in response headers: X-Captapi-Credits (credits charged), X-Captapi-Cache (hit or miss), and X-Captapi-Source. Failed requests (4xx/5xx) are never charged. See the full list of error codes in the error reference.

A successful call returns success, cached, creditsUsed, and a data object with the following fields:

Parameters

Authentication: send your key as Authorization: Bearer capt_live_.... A typical call costs 1 credit. Pass cache=true for a free 24h cache hit; default is always fresh.
